| We have always enjoyed Embassy Suites. they are a favorite. The breakfast and happy hour drinks and snacks are a favorite. Large clean rooms, friendly and helpful staff.
This particular neighborhood is a bit shaddy near the bus stop and union station. But I felt safe with my 2 children in the parking lot and inside the hotel. You can walk to dining or room service was good and quick as well. |

| This is an excellent hotel. The location was perfect and getting around the city was easy. I will plan a longer stay next time to enjoy the different services offered at this hotel. |

| Noisy, not very clean and no parking. They charged extra to use the Internet and charged for parking even though there was no place to park. |

| The carpeting was worn and there was stuff on the floor from the previous occupant. I do not think the electric plugs in the bathroom worked. The lighting was terrible for reading.
The staff was great--friendly and helpful. Breakfast was great. |

| My stay was fine. The hotel was renovating many of the rooms, so the water supply was being worked on. While I was there, the water was turned off from 9am-4pm, which I'm sure was inconvenient for many people. Also, the air conditioner in each room is very loud and doesn't get very cold. Other than that, it was an okay stay for the price. The breakfast and drinks reception were nice.
Overall, good not great. |

| Our visit was part of an event at the nearby civic center complex so the hotel was at full capacity. We arrived at 3:15pm and were told that our room was not ready and to return - "that it would be no problem". We returned when our event wrapped for the evening and went to check in only to find out that they had given our pre-paid non smoking room to another guest. The front desk wasn't apologetic and didn't offer any solutions and said we "had to take a smoking room". After a lengthy discussion, a manager was finally summoned who put us in a handicap non-smoking room.
The stay includes a complementary breakfast. The "hostess" was exceptionally rude. Rather than a polite "good morning, do you have a voucher", it was a gruff "HEY! Where's your ticket?!"
Aside from those problems, it was a great stay. The remainder of the staff was friendly and helpful. The hotel is convenient, clean and comfortable. |
